Finally done

I started the drawing when I was really down. Sorry I keep drawing Lucas crying. He's not a pussy :(
Anyway I'm pretty pleased with this. Some things could probably be improved but I'm at a point where I feel it's finalized enough. I hope you like :]

I don't think this is really spoiler warning worthy, afterall... He just got ketchup on his clothes... right?

I really like your painterly style! BTW this looks familiar, is this a character from Earthbound/Mother? Much apologies, it's been a few years since I first played it and I've forgotten a lot.

He looks super sad. Though the blood does make me wonder:
Did he do the kill himself or did he witness the death? :o
Beautiful work as always though, Deathly.
And at least you got to work your emotions out with it too. =]

Aww, poor Lucas. I need to play this game, since you say so many good things about it.

What tool did you use for the coloring? I know it's digital (AND it came out excellent), but what program?

He's Lucas from Mother 3 :]

Thank you!
:iconcaptaindahlia:
If ya played the game you'd find out ;D

..play it, seriously.

Haha but seriously, thank you very much.
:iconcaptaindahlia:
I use Photoshop CS3. I used to use Photoshop Elements.

And yes. Play it. PLAAAAY IT. (Play Earthbound first)
:iconindigocrystal:
Oh plain old Photoshop. I have Elements, and I might experiment a bit with the brushes.

Well, when I used Elements, and still, when I use Photoshop CS3- I almost exclusively use the round brush. I tweak the settings when necessary- such as opacity and hardness, but I usually use a 100% hard brush with 25% opacity for my painting effects.
:iconindigocrystal:
Alright, thanks!

No problem :]

Make sure you experiment though and find whatcha like. Some people like working with textured brushes, and some people don't even like doing painting effects XD
